Results of Maker Faire
The weekend of 5/16 and 5/17 will be a weekened I will never forget. Along with our booth, there were many other showcases showing their products. Our Maker Faire booth exceeded my expectations by how smooth it went at Maker Faire. We had 3 computers running the game with 2 monitors and a projector. During Maker Faire, we had many people come and play our game mostly in the age group of 10-13 and at a couple of points we had people in lines to play our game. Even though we had a lot of people, we didn't manage our "time shifts" efficiently. For example, at times there would be only 2 people at the booth while sometimes there would be 5. Next time we can organize a time schedule for every person at Maker Faire. I found many booths to be very inspirational with their products and ideas. The results of the surveys tell me unfortunately that many people will not play this game a second time, but that's alright since we developed this game only in 2 months and this was in beta stage. Next year, I would like to see maybe a new stage level and better graphics. Being caught in all the excitement of Maker Faire, I took very little documentation of Maker Faire sadly. During Maker Faire many questions arose from people passing by our booth asking questions of how did we make this, what program did we use,how long did it take us to make it, and many more.
